About the Role

Hyundai Motor Company is seeking a Senior Compliance Officer to join its team in the Makkah region, specifically covering King Abdullah Economic City and Makkah. This full-time role is central to developing and implementing robust compliance policies and procedures, ensuring strict adherence to Saudi laws, regulations, and internal company policies. The officer will be responsible for overseeing daily compliance operations and reporting to senior management.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement compliance policies, procedures, and practices in line with Saudi laws, regulations, and company standards.
• Oversee and monitor daily compliance activities throughout the organization.
• Prepare and present regular compliance reports to senior management.
• Manage mandatory employee training completion and maintain precise records of all training activities and participation.
• Design and deliver compliance awareness programs and training, including the creation of educational materials on relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies.
• Establish and maintain the compliance register and monitoring program.
• Formulate and execute the annual compliance plan.

Performance Measurement

Performance in this role will be assessed against key indicators, including:

• Timely review and update of policies in alignment with Saudi regulations.
• Efficiency in implementing new or updated regulations.
• Completion rate of planned compliance monitoring activities.
• Effectiveness in identifying and resolving compliance issues within defined timelines.
• Accuracy and completeness of all compliance reports.
• Maintenance of audit-ready training records.
• Achievement of target employee mandatory training completion rates.
• Number of compliance awareness sessions conducted annually.

Required Experience

Candidates should possess 5 to 10 years of experience in a compliance-focused role, demonstrating a strong understanding of regulatory frameworks and corporate governance principles.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in the Makkah region, covering operations in King Abdullah Economic City and Makkah. The role requires active engagement across various departments to ensure comprehensive compliance.
