About the Role

Makkah Water Safa is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Spare Parts Engineer to join its team in Mecca, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. Key Responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate the specific spare parts requirements for all industrial machinery and equipment.
• Maintain and regularly update comprehensive spare parts catalogs, databases, and accurate inventory records.
• Coordinate effectively with maintenance, procurement departments, and external suppliers to ensure the timely availability of necessary spare parts.
• Analyze the causes of equipment breakdowns and recommend appropriate spare parts solutions to prevent recurrence.
• Review technical drawings, equipment manuals, and specifications to accurately determine the correct spare parts needed.
• Monitor current inventory levels and establish optimal minimum and maximum stock requirements to ensure adequate supply without overstocking.
• Provide technical spare parts expertise to support both preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
• Evaluate the quality of spare parts received and ensure compliance with all relevant technical standards and specifications.
• Prepare detailed technical reports, conduct cost analyses related to spare parts, and provide well-reasoned spare parts recommendations.
• Assist in the vendor selection process and conduct technical evaluations of potential suppliers.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field.
• Possess experience in machinery maintenance, spare parts management, or industrial operations.
• Demonstrate knowledge of mechanical components, various equipment systems, and standard maintenance practices.
• Proficiency in using Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems and Microsoft Office applications.
• Exhibit strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to accurately read and interpret technical drawings and equipment manuals.
