About the Specialist Operations Performance Role

DP World is seeking a Specialist Operations Performance to join our team in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is central to enhancing operational efficiency and supporting data-driven decision-making across the organization. The Specialist will be responsible for delivering accurate and timely reporting, conducting effective data analysis, and collaborating with various departments to streamline data processes and improve overall data quality.

Core Purpose and Contribution

The primary purpose of this position is to ensure that operational insights are derived from robust data analysis and reporting. The Specialist will play a critical role in identifying areas for optimization and supporting the development of strategies that enhance terminal operations. This involves a commitment to data accuracy, process improvement, and the effective utilization of analytical tools.

Key Accountabilities and Data Management

• Perform internal and external reporting with a high degree of accuracy.
• Identify and resolve data discrepancies to maintain data integrity.
• Handle complex data tasks, including conducting data analysis on raw system data to create requested reports and dashboards using MS Excel and MS Power BI.
• Establish quality check mechanisms and continuously monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

Operational Efficiency and Strategic Support

• Conduct comprehensive data analysis for operations and lean projects, identifying operational bottlenecks and areas for optimization.
• Utilize sophisticated statistical tools and software to monitor, report on, and predict the effectiveness of improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with the IT department to automate manual reports, defining output report criteria, providing calculation methodologies and relevant formulas, validating data, and monitoring data quality.
• Assist in the development of data-driven strategies aimed at optimizing terminal operations.

Required Experience

Candidates for this Specialist Operations Performance position should possess between 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in data analysis, reporting, and operational performance roles.
