Al-Enjaz Company is seeking a qualified Traffic Engineer to join its team in Makkah. This full-time role is central to ensuring safe and efficient traffic operations for various projects within the region.

Role Overview

The Traffic Engineer will be responsible for the oversight, design, and management of Traffic Management Plans (TMP) and site safety protocols. This position ensures smooth traffic flow, minimizes operational risks, and maintains full compliance with Saudi traffic regulations and established safety standards across all project sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, review, and implement traffic detour plans, signage, barriers, and temporary control devices for various site operations.
• Conduct regular site audits to ensure adherence to traffic safety standards and actively mitigate road hazards for both workers and the public.
• Liaise with local authorities, including the Ministry of Transport, Municipality, and Traffic Police, to secure all necessary traffic permits and approvals.
• Perform comprehensive traffic risk assessments and implement effective corrective actions to enhance overall site safety.
• Provide guidance and training to traffic controllers (flagmen) and other site personnel on safe traffic management procedures.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of professional experience in traffic engineering or a closely related field.
• Active registration with the Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) is a mandatory requirement for this position.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Makkah. The role requires regular presence on project sites and close coordination with various internal and external stakeholders to ensure project success and safety compliance.
