Job Description

Providing a sophisticated and distinguished reception experience for all customers, through good reception, efficient appointment management, and professional service that reflects the clinic's level and maintains customer satisfaction.

The Medical Appointments Coordinator is responsible for organizing and scheduling patient appointments with doctors in an efficient and organized manner, while ensuring a comfortable and smooth experience for patients within the medical facility, and coordinating between different departments to reduce appointment conflicts and improve workflow.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Receiving appointment booking requests via phone, in-person visit, or electronic systems
  • Organizing and scheduling doctors' and patients' appointments on a daily and weekly basis
  • Ensuring no appointment conflicts and continuously updating schedules
  • Communicating with patients to confirm appointments or reschedule them when needed
  • Accurately entering and updating patient data in the medical system
  • Responding to patient inquiries and providing necessary information about medical services
  • Following up on patient attendance and organizing waiting lists
  • Coordinating with medical and administrative departments to ensure smooth workflow
  • Preparing periodic reports on appointments, cancellations, and no-shows
  • Adhering to confidentiality policies and protecting patient data

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • High school diploma, diploma, or bachelor's degree (preferably in Health Administration or a similar field)
  • Previous experience in reception or appointment coordination (preferably in the medical sector)
  • Proficiency in using computers and medical systems
  • Excellent communication skills in Arabic and English (an added advantage)
