About the Client and the Role

iHR (International Human Resources) is seeking a Vice President of Financial Planning & Analysis and Investor Relations for a leading technology and digital solutions company. This company operates across FinTech, payments, and technology solutions sectors, with a regional and international presence through branches and operations in markets outside Saudi Arabia. The role is based in Riyadh and is a full-time position, requiring a strategic financial leader to drive financial planning, analysis, and investor relations functions.

Role Overview

The Vice President will lead the financial planning and analysis framework, overseeing budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance analysis. This role also involves managing investor relations and communicating with stakeholders and the Board of Directors. The ideal candidate will combine financial expertise, strategic analytical skills, business acumen, and technical understanding, with the ability to leverage AI tools to enhance operational efficiency, financial analysis, and decision-making support.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation of annual budgets, long-term financial plans, and periodic financial forecasts.
• Oversee the analysis of financial and operational performance, including revenues, profits, margins, costs, and cash flows.
• Develop financial models and conduct scenario analysis to support strategic and operational decisions.
• Provide financial reports, analyses, and recommendations to executive management and the Board of Directors.
• Act as a strategic partner to various departments to improve spending efficiency and resource allocation.
• Evaluate business initiatives, investments, expansions, partnerships, and investment opportunities.
• Develop financial planning and analysis systems and automate financial reports and processes.
• Manage relations and communications with current and potential investors, financing entities, and stakeholders.
• Prepare financial reports and presentations for the Board of Directors and investors.
• Support fundraising and investment processes, preparing necessary financial models and data.
• Monitor market trends, financial indicators, and the performance of comparable companies.
• Utilize AI tools, specifically Claude, for financial analysis, model building, and automation of financial processes.

Qualifications and Requirements

• 12-15 years of practical experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), strategic finance, or commercial finance, with leadership experience.
• Possession of a valid professional certification (CMA or CFA Charter).
• Advanced experience in preparing budgets, financial forecasts, models, and financial analyses.
• Direct experience interacting with executive management, Boards of Directors, and investors.
• Knowledge of the technology, FinTech, and payments sectors, or similar operational and financial industries.
• Practical and advanced experience using Claude and other AI tools for financial analysis, model building, and task automation.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets.
• Experience with SQL, Business Intelligence (BI) systems, and financial planning systems is a plus.
• Strong leadership, analytical, and strategic skills, with the ability to provide recommendations and support executive decisions.
