About the Account Installation Representative Role

Cigna Healthcare, a global health service company, is seeking an Account Installation Representative to join its team in Riyadh. This full-time position is integral to ensuring the accurate configuration and maintenance of medical benefit plans within internal and Third-Party Administrator (TPA) systems. Role Overview and Responsibilities

The Account Installation Representative is responsible for the precise setup and ongoing management of medical benefit plans. This involves analyzing product documents and policy schedules to configure plans for both internal use and TPAs. The role ensures that members, providers, and clients receive accurate and current information regarding eligibility, coverage rules, authorization requirements, and claim adjudication parameters. Collaboration with underwriting, sales, client services, and business support teams is essential to gather and validate plan information, ensuring accurate reflection of client and product specifications before policy activation to prevent claim errors.

  • Configure benefit plans by analyzing product documents and policy schedules for internal and TPA systems.
  • Set up eligibility, copays, deductibles, out-of-pocket maximums, covered services, provider networks, annual/lifetime caps, and service-level exclusions/inclusions.
  • Maintain and validate API/data feed integrations between internal and TPA systems, including policy enrollment and benefit tables.
  • Review and validate group setup and benefit plan changes, updates, and renewals, coordinating with relevant internal teams.
  • Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for plan benefit setups and system enhancements.
  • Coordinate with TPAs to align benefit configurations and conduct benefit mapping and data exchange configuration.
  • Maintain configuration documentation, setup logs, and audit trails in compliance with regulatory and internal protocols.
  • Partner with broader Operations teams to ensure readiness for servicing by the client's effective date.
  • Resolve benefit-related discrepancies flagged by claims or customer service between internal and TPA platforms.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this role should possess a Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, Business, or a related field, or demonstrate equivalent work experience. The position requires 1 to 2 years of experience in benefit setup or insurance policy administration within a health insurance company. Familiarity with benefit configuration tools and administrative platforms is expected, along with a solid understanding of medical coverages and exclusions, policy wording, and product structure. Knowledge of insurance regulatory requirements, including CHI, IA, and Nphies, is also necessary.

  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, Business, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 1-2 years of experience in benefit setup or insurance policy administration in a health insurance company.
  • Experience with benefit configuration tools and administrative platforms.
  • Familiarity with medical coverages, exclusions, policy wording, and product structure.
  • Knowledge of insurance regulatory requirements (CHI, IA, Nphies).
