About the Accounting Senior Specialist Role

Alnafitha IT is seeking an Accounting Senior Specialist to manage comprehensive financial operations in Riyadh. This full-time position requires a professional to ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across all financial processes, including payment processing, accounts payable, payroll, general ledger management, tax compliance, and financial reporting. The role involves developing budgets and forecasts, conducting variance analysis, and providing financial insights to support strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end processing of payment requests, verifying supporting documents and securing internal approvals.
  • Execute payments via bank transfer, cheque, cash, or online methods, ensuring proper documentation.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
  • Document business processes and accounting policies to enhance internal controls.
  • Prepare accurate financial statements and regulatory reporting documents, including consolidated statements.
  • Support the timely production of financial reports and assist with presentations for board and audit committee meetings.
  • Respond to inquiries regarding financial results and special reporting requests.
  • Review and validate journal entries for accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
  • Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
  • Coordinate with relevant departments to resolve discrepancies and maintain general ledger integrity.
  • Conduct month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations.
  • Analyze financial data to identify discrepancies and ensure accurate reporting.
  • Perform account analysis and oversee journal entries and account reconciliations.
  • Manage accounts payable processes, ensuring timely invoice processing.
  • Oversee the complete payroll cycle, including validation of inputs and reconciliation to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Coordinate and secure management approval for finalized payroll.
  • Execute timely and accurate salary disbursement, maintaining proper documentation and confidentiality.
  • Prepare and file tax returns, ensuring compliance with tax regulations.
  • Support the design and implementation of new policies and procedures related to audit requirements and business activities.
  • Assist in identifying needs for business process improvements and designing enhancements.
  • Support the accounting team in daily activities, special projects, and workflow improvements.
  • Develop budgets and financial plans based on research and data reports.
  • Support the preparation and consolidation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • A Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration is preferred.
  • A minimum of 2-5 years of experience in accounting or finance roles, with a focus on financial reporting and analysis.
  • Proficiency in accounting software.
  • Familiarity with financial reporting standards and tax regulations.
