About the Role

Career Overseas Consultants Ltd. is seeking a skilled Air Conditioner & Refrigerator Technician for a full-time position in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role is focused on contributing to the maintenance and operational efficiency of essential cooling and refrigeration systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, commission, and test air conditioning and refrigeration systems.
• Perform comprehensive preventive and corrective maintenance on HVAC and refrigeration equipment.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, and control system faults.
• Inspect and service critical components including compressors, condensers, evaporators, expansion valves, thermostats, and fan motors.
• Conduct refrigerant charging, recovery, leak detection, and pressure testing according to industry best practices.
• Interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and equipment manuals to guide repair and maintenance activities.
• Monitor system performance, identify potential issues, and recommend improvements for operational efficiency.
• Replace defective parts and components to ensure system integrity and functionality.
• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with established safety regulations and environmental standards.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and prepare comprehensive service reports.
• Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns and perform troubleshooting to minimize downtime.
• Coordinate with supervisors and other maintenance personnel for timely task completion.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Technical Diploma, Trade Certificate, or Vocational Training in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Technology.
• A minimum of 2 to 5 years of relevant work experience.
• Preferred experience in Training Institutes, Engineering Firms, Real Estate, or Developer sectors.
• A relevant HVAC Technician Certification.
• A Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Trade Certificate.
• Completed an Occupational Health & Safety Training Certificate.
• Sound knowledge of HVAC and refrigeration systems, their components, and control mechanisms.
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical equipment effectively.
• Familiarity with refrigerants, recovery procedures, and associated safety practices.
• Ability to read and understand technical manuals and wiring diagrams.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Capability to work under pressure and meet demanding maintenance schedules.
• Willingness to work at heights, in confined spaces, and under varying weather conditions.
• Physical capability to lift and carry tools, equipment, and spare parts.
• Physical fitness to perform all necessary maintenance and repair activities.
