AML Specialist

About the Role

Moyasar Financial Company is seeking an AML Specialist to join its team in Riyadh, Riyadh Province. This full-time role focuses on managing financial crime risks within the organization. The specialist will contribute to various aspects of anti-money laundering efforts, ensuring compliance and operational integrity.

Role Overview

The AML Specialist will be an integral part of the AML team, working across critical areas such as transaction monitoring, investigations, Know Your Customer (KYC) processes, Customer Due Diligence (CDD) and Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD), sanctions screening, and regulatory reporting. This position is central to maintaining robust financial crime prevention frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor transactions and conduct investigations into suspicious activities.
• Review KYC documentation for both new and existing merchants.
• Support CDD and EDD processes to ensure thorough customer vetting.
• Perform sanctions screening to identify and mitigate risks.
• Prepare and support the submission of suspicious transaction reports (STRs).
• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to AML investigations.
• Support the development and implementation of AML policies, controls, procedures, and risk assessments.
• Track AML-related Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and assist with regulatory reporting requirements.
• Stay informed about updates to SAMA, FATF, and other relevant AML requirements.
• Support AML awareness and training activities within the company.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Law, or a related field.
• Experience in AML, financial crime, KYC, or a related area.
• Good understanding of AML/CFT principles, KYC, CDD/EDD, and sanctions screening.
• Knowledge of Saudi regulatory requirements is preferred.

• Proficiency in both Arabic and English communication.
