Job Description

About the Role

ACUD Company is seeking a dedicated Architectural Engineer to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position involves overseeing the execution of architectural works on site, ensuring strict adherence to plans, technical specifications, and quality standards. The role requires close coordination with all relevant stakeholders to guarantee project delivery within the approved timeline.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide daily supervision of architectural works implemented on site.
  • Coordinate with engineers from other disciplines (civil, electrical, mechanical) to ensure integrated project execution.
  • Monitor contractors and subcontractors, ensuring the quality of their work.
  • Conduct inspections and manage the handover process for completed works in accordance with technical specifications.
  • Prepare and submit work progress reports to the Project Manager.
  • Address technical issues that may arise during implementation and propose appropriate solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards and site safety requirements.
  • Quantify and review executed works as needed.
  • Track material requests and verify their conformity with approved specifications.
  • Contribute to project handover and the completion of snag lists until final project closure.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Architectural Engineering.
  • Valid membership with the Saudi Council of Engineers.
  • 7 to 10 years of experience in site supervision or architectural project implementation.
  • Demonstrated experience in hotel finishes, specifically within 5-star projects.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in reading plans and executive drawings.
  • Familiarity with the Saudi Building Code and relevant technical specifications.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Familiarity with Revit and Navisworks programs is preferred.
  • Strong communication and coordination abilities.
  • Proven problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Effective time management and ability to perform under pressure.
  • Capability to prepare technical reports and monitor work progress.

Work Environment

  • The role involves working on project sites with continuous field visits.
  • Adherence to established working hours and occupational safety requirements is mandatory.
  • Continuous coordination with project management, consultants, and contractors is essential.
