The Role of an Automation Engineer

Hala is seeking a Full-time Automation Engineer to join its team in Riyadh. This role focuses on identifying and implementing process automation opportunities across the organization. The Automation Engineer will be responsible for the full lifecycle of Robotic Process Automation (RPA) bots, from design and development to testing and deployment, ensuring these solutions align with critical business needs and contribute to operational efficiency initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to identify and document process automation opportunities.
• Design, develop, test, and deploy RPA bots, ensuring alignment with defined business requirements.
• Conduct thorough process evaluations and feasibility studies to assess the potential for automation.
• Monitor and optimize existing RPA bots, proactively identifying areas for performance enhancement.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation for all automation workflows, ensuring clarity and adherence to best practices.
• Assist in training business teams on the effective use of new automation tools and workflows.
• Work closely with the Process Automation Lead, business analysts, and IT teams to integrate automation solutions with enterprise-wide goals.
• Provide regular updates on the progress, performance, and any challenges related to automation initiatives.

Required Experience and Qualifications

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in automation engineering or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience in designing, developing, testing, and deploying RPA bots.
• Proven ability to conduct process evaluations and feasibility studies for automation potential.
• Experience in monitoring, optimizing, and documenting automation workflows.
• Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with business analysts, IT teams, and stakeholders.

This full-time position is based in Riyadh. The Automation Engineer will operate within a collaborative environment, working closely with the Process Automation Lead, business analysts, and various IT teams.
