About the Business Development Executive Role

TMF Group is seeking a full-time Business Development Executive to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role is central to driving local sales growth by identifying and securing new business opportunities within the market.

Role Purpose and Scope

The Business Development Executive is responsible for creating and closing new local sales opportunities, expanding existing customer relationships, and managing non-complex renewal processes. The role also involves supporting inbound sales by preparing proposals for global sellers and actively engaging in upsell and cross-sell activities within the existing client portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze existing customer service portfolios to develop strategies for upselling and cross-selling additional services.
  • Build an expiring contract map and develop a T-12 activity plan for non-complex local renewals to ensure timely contract continuation.
  • Develop new business pipelines for assigned countries and execute upsell/cross-sell initiatives with existing clients.
  • Collaborate as part of a deal team to ensure optimal customer experience and response, including sharing deals across sales teams.
  • Execute marketing campaigns to generate the required sales pipeline.
  • Adopt and maintain TMF Sales Processes and Systems, including CRM management, sales forecasting, and proposal tools.
  • Provide support to Local Office sales and Professional Sellers by generating and delivering standard proposals.
  • Support inbound sales processes by providing proposals to global senior sellers.
  • Assist the local office with administrative tasks such as CRM updates and KYC process follow-ups.
  • Meet monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in business, sales, marketing, or a related field.
  • Relevant working experience in a commercial environment, or in consulting, accounting, or law firms.
  • Experience working in or with direct sales, pre-sales, and/or enablement in an enterprise software and/or SaaS environment.

Required Skills and Attributes

  • Very good English written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with clients at all levels.
  • A "solution selling" approach, demonstrating the ability to understand client needs over a hard sell.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working both independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Results-oriented with effective priority and workload management abilities.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role requires active collaboration within various sales teams and consistent adherence to established TMF sales processes and systems.
