Job Description
About the Role
Multilink Management Consultants is seeking an experienced Catering Supervisor to manage catering and food service operations across various project sites, camps, and accommodation facilities. This full-time position requires a dedicated professional to ensure high standards in food quality, hygiene, safety, and customer service, while efficiently overseeing catering staff and daily operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily catering operations, encompassing food preparation, serving, and dining facility management.
- Ensure strict adherence to food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
- Monitor food quality, portion control, and service standards to maintain consistency.
- Coordinate meal planning and catering schedules in alignment with project requirements.
- Manage catering staff, including cooks, kitchen assistants, stewards, and service personnel.
- Conduct regular inspections of kitchens, dining areas, and food storage facilities.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate the procurement of food supplies and consumables.
- Ensure proper storage, handling, and rotation of all food products.
- Address employee feedback and promptly resolve any catering-related issues.
- Maintain accurate records of food consumption, inventory, wastage, and staff attendance.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, local regulations, and Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) requirements.
- Liaise with camp administration and project management teams regarding catering services.
Qualifications and Experience
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Hotel Management, Catering Management, Hospitality, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5–8 years of experience in catering operations, with a preference for experience in Oil & Gas, construction camps, industrial facilities, or large-scale catering environments.
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards, HACCP principles, and hygiene practices.
- Proven experience supervising multicultural workforces and large catering teams.
- Good organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with catering management record-keeping.
- Ability to work effectively in remote project sites and camp environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- HACCP Certification.
- Food Safety & Hygiene Certification.
- Experience within the GCC or Saudi Arabia region is considered an advantage.
