About the Role

The Customs Broker is a full-time, on-site position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role is responsible for preparing and submitting customs documentation, ensuring shipments comply with Saudi customs regulations and international trade requirements. The Customs Broker will also collaborate with internal operations and logistics teams to plan timely clearance, support cost-effective solutions, and maintain accurate records and reports for all assigned shipments.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle daily customs documentation and clearance operations for imports and exports at the airport terminal.
• Coordinate directly with customs authorities, airport/port officials, and internal logistics teams.
• Ensure full compliance with Saudi customs laws, tariff classifications, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for clearance.
• Track shipment statuses, inspect cargo on-site, and promptly resolve any customs holds or documentation discrepancies.
• Coordinate with customs authorities, ports, and related agencies.
• Verify invoices, packing lists, and HS codes.
• Resolve clearance issues to prevent delays.
• Communicate with clients to provide updates, clarify documentation needs, and address inquiries about import and export processes.

Qualifications and Experience

• 2-5 years of experience in customs brokerage or a related field.
• Strong understanding of Saudi customs regulations and international trade requirements.
• Ability to prepare and submit customs documentation accurately.
• Proficiency in verifying invoices, packing lists, and HS codes.
• Experience in resolving clearance issues and preventing delays.
