About the Role

Luxoft is seeking a Data Migration BA to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves working as a migration functional lead on a Murex greenfield implementation project for a large banking client in the region. The position requires substantial expertise in Murex, with a focus on data migration initiatives.

Project Context and Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be instrumental in developing and enhancing data migration solutions within the Murex environment. This involves applying deep functional and technical knowledge to ensure seamless integration and data integrity throughout the project lifecycle.

• Develop MXML import and export workflows utilizing MXML Exchange.
• Apply extensive experience in Murex workflow development covering trade life cycle, system interface workflow creation, confirmation generation, error management, and OSP.
• Propose enhancements to existing solutions using analytical and technical expertise.

Experience and Core Qualifications

Candidates should possess a strong background in Murex and data migration projects, demonstrating proficiency in key Murex functionalities and related technologies.

• 7 to 10 years of overall experience in Murex.
• 5 to 7 years of dedicated experience in Murex migration projects.
• Strong knowledge of Murex workflows and MxML, including trade, contract, and exchange workflows.
• Proficiency in MXML , including the use of XML/XST languages, Data Dictionaries, and Templates.

Technical and Functional Expertise

The role requires a comprehensive understanding of Murex functionalities, technical tools, and financial products to support complex migration efforts.

• Development of MXML Exchange workflows.
• Technical proficiency in creating messaging queues (MQ) and UNIX shell scripting.
• Knowledge of SWIFT and paper confirmations.
• Familiarity with trade interfaces such as MarkitWire, TOF, OMGEO, and RTNS.
• Understanding of market data uploads in both real-time (RTBS) and batch (MDIT) modes.
• Experience with contract, deliverable, event, and exchange workflows.
• Comprehensive grasp of the front-to-back trade life cycle.
• Awareness of FX, IR, FI, and Equity products.
