About the Designer Role

LEO MEA (Middle East & Africa) is seeking a full-time Designer to join their team in Riyadh. This role is suitable for individuals with 0-1 years of experience. The Designer will focus on creating visually integrated content, leveraging AI tools to enhance design output.

Role Overview

The Designer will be responsible for conceptualizing and producing visual designs across various mediums, including print, digital, social media, and broadcast. A key aspect of this role involves the integration of AI tools to create content that is fully or partially AI-driven. The Designer will ensure that designs effectively communicate campaign messages and goals, while maintaining technical and visual accuracy, and adhering to delivery timelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Conceptualizing and designing content across diverse asset types.
• Partnering closely with the team to deliver high-quality, agile, and AI-driven content.
• Developing all agile content and ensuring its timely and quality delivery.
• Working under supervision within brand guidelines and project timelines.
• Designing and producing online content, including social media and display banners.
• Art directing still and video shoots.
• Collaborating with other team members, including copywriters, art directors, and motion designers.
• Creating layouts, typography, illustrations, and infographics.
• Creating and maintaining design guidelines to ensure technical and visual accuracy.

Qualifications and Requirements

• 0-2 years of experience as a Designer.
• Ability to design overall creative test assets, including aesthetics, typography, color, brand, iconography, imagery, layout, and concept sophistication.
• Good knowledge of AI tools that can assist with designs, and broader knowledge of tools related to content generation.
• Experience working across asset types (static, video, animation).
• Strong conceptual, composition, photo art direction, and ideation skills.
• Well-versed in best practices for various digital social media deliverables, including video and display.
• Detail-oriented with strong file and version management skills.
• Hands-on experience with creative graphic production design software and image editing software (*, InDesign, Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, After Effects).
• A digital portfolio showcasing professional design projects, ideally including digital, social, web, and motion design experience, along with familiarity with AI tools.

Collaboration and Skills

This role involves close collaboration with other members of the AI team. Strong capabilities and interest in audio-visual content that is visually captivating and keeps up with current trends are beneficial. The Designer should be comfortable challenging the team and asking pertinent questions to advance projects. A digitally native understanding of what performs well on key digital platforms, combined with the ability to think about overall design and voice to break through, is essential.

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh. The role offers autonomy in shaping content for multiple audiences and requires working within a team environment.
