About NHC Innovation and the Role

NHC Innovation is seeking a Development and Operations General Manager to join our team in Riyadh. This full-time position is central to ensuring the secure, reliable delivery and continuous improvement of our Solutions products. The role involves governing the entire lifecycle from development and integration to ongoing operations.

Role Purpose

The Development and Operations General Manager is responsible for defining frameworks, approving architectures and releases, and overseeing service health for Solutions products. This leadership position ensures that all development and operational activities align with strategic plans and governance standards, driving efficiency and continuous improvement across the product lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the Solutions business plan and develop the Development & Technical Operations business plan, translating strategic directions into clear objectives and initiatives.
  • Optimize resources, ensure organizational efficiency, and develop the yearly budget for Development & Technical Operations.
  • Oversee the identification and implementation of technology solutions, automation tools, and equipment to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Provide continuous guidance and mentorship to foster a performance-driven culture, contributing to workforce planning, recruitment, development, and performance management.
  • Formulate the Development & Technical Operations strategic plan, defining boundaries, roles, and governance for Product Development & Deployment, Technical Operations Monitoring, Product Vendor Operations, and Technical Support.
  • Define solution architecture, development, and release governance, integrating digital, cybersecurity, data governance, and quality requirements across the product lifecycle.
  • Oversee the translation of specifications into development backlogs, manage change requests, and validate impacts on scope, timelines, and resources.
  • Ensure the provisioning of development and integration environments, covering infrastructure, middleware, data, and security controls.
  • Manage vendor engagement and performance, validating scope adherence, milestones, and quality standards, and approving deliverables.
  • Ensure release readiness, approve deployment schedules, and oversee training and enablement governance.
  • Monitor service health through enterprise platforms, manage incident detection and escalation, and ensure root cause analysis and corrective action governance.
  • Oversee second- and third-level technical support operations, ensuring ticket diagnosis quality and corrective fixes.
  • Approve development compliance reports and report on service health, incident trends, and improvement opportunities to product managers.
  • Maintain improvement mechanisms by capturing lessons learned from development, deployment, training, and operations.

Qualifications and Experience

  • A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in development and operations management.

Internal Stakeholder Engagement

This role requires close collaboration with various internal stakeholders, including Business Planning & Development, Product Management, Project Assurance & Delivery, Procurement, Digital, and Customer Care.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, offering an opportunity to lead critical development and operations functions within NHC Innovation.
