About the E-commerce Visual Presentation Supervisor Role

Al Majed Oud is seeking an experienced E-commerce Visual Presentation Supervisor to enhance product presentation across its digital platforms. This full-time role, based in Riyadh, requires a professional with 5-10 years of experience in e-commerce visual merchandising and a background in perfume or retail companies. The primary objective is to improve product visibility and user engagement to drive conversion rates.

Strategic Offer and Proposition Management

This role involves designing and refining compelling value propositions and promotional offers, informed by market trends, competitor analysis, and internal financial targets. The supervisor will analyze customer segmentation data to develop personalized offers aimed at increasing Average Order Value (AOV) and Customer Lifetime Value (CLV). Collaboration with the Finance department is essential to ensure commercial viability and alignment with inventory health. A key responsibility includes managing the promotional calendar to balance ongoing offers with significant seasonal events.

Merchandising and User Experience Optimization

The supervisor will oversee digital product placement, prioritizing high-margin or high-priority items for optimal visibility. This includes optimizing the "Path to Purchase" through data-driven insights to refine category structures, search functionality, and cross-sell/up-sell modules. Real-time stock level monitoring will inform merchandising adjustments for overstock or new arrivals. Maintaining brand consistency across all touchpoints, including product imagery, descriptions, and pricing accuracy, is critical.

Campaign Planning and Performance Analysis

Leadership in marketing campaign execution is required, ensuring all assets align with core propositions and launch on schedule. Coordination with Creative and Media teams is necessary for producing effective campaign collateral for various channels. A/B testing of campaign variables will be conducted to identify optimal conversion drivers. Post-campaign analysis will involve synthesizing complex data into actionable insights for senior leadership, highlighting successes and learnings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Organizing and arranging products on the website, including homepage, categories, and product pages.
  • Selecting and ordering appropriate product images.
  • Ensuring clarity of product information, including descriptions, prices, and offers.
  • Facilitating user browsing and purchasing processes through website analysis and design suggestions.
  • Preparing seasonal displays and highlighting key products.
  • Coordinating with the marketing team for campaign implementation.
  • Monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) such as conversion rate, user time spent, and bounce rate.
  • Utilizing analytics tools like Google Analytics for performance tracking.
  • Supervising visual content, including images, banners, and videos, ensuring brand identity alignment.
  • Coordinating with designers and photographers for visual assets.
  • Optimizing product titles, descriptions, and keywords for search engine visibility.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Proven experience in e-commerce visual presentation.
  • Experience specifically within perfume companies or retail companies is mandatory.
  • A minimum of 5 years and a maximum of 10 years of relevant experience.
