About the Role
W Hotels in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Executive-Event Sales professional to join their team. This full-time, non-management position is based in the Financial District of Riyadh and plays a crucial role in driving event sales and ensuring exceptional guest experiences. As an Executive-Event Sales, you will be instrumental in contacting potential clients, utilizing effective sales techniques to maximize revenue, and fostering strong guest loyalty. You will also be responsible for handling reservation requests, resolving guest inquiries, and contributing to the overall success of the Sales & Marketing department.
Key Responsibilities
- Contact appropriate individuals or departments, such as Sales, Data Administration, or Accounting, to resolve guest calls, requests, or problems.
- Employ sales techniques that maximize revenue while maintaining existing guest loyalty, including up-selling.
- Determine and provide complimentaries to guests as gifts for their patronage, such as rewards points, show tickets, or gift certificates.
- Promote awareness of the W Hotels brand image both internally and externally.
- Process requests for redeeming Marriott Rewards points.
- Process all reservation requests, changes, and cancellations received via phone, fax, or mail.
- Enter Marriott Rewards information into appropriate software when taking guest reservations.
- Answer, record, and process all guest calls, requests, questions, or concerns.
- Perform general office duties to support the Sales & Marketing department, including filing, sending emails, typing, and faxing.
- Assist management in training and motivating employees, serving as a role model.
- Ensure adherence to all company policies and procedures, maintaining a clean and professional uniform and personal appearance.
- Maintain the confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets.
- Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipating and addressing their service needs with genuine appreciation.
- Speak with others using clear and professional language, preparing and reviewing written documents accurately and completely.
- Answer telephones using appropriate etiquette.
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others, supporting the team to reach common goals.
- Listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees.
- Monitor the performance of others to ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards.
- Read and visually verify information in a variety of formats.
- Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance.
- Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.
Qualifications and Requirements
- A high school diploma or *** equivalent is preferred.
- A minimum of 2 years of related work experience is required.
- No supervisory experience is required for this role.

- Proficiency in sales techniques and up-selling.
- Ability to promote brand awareness and maintain professional appearance.
- Skilled in reservation processing and guest relations.
- Competence in performing general office duties.
- Experience in training and motivating others.

Work Environment and Location
This is a full-time, non-management position located in the Financial District of Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role is not remote. The position is part of the Sales & Marketing job category.
