About the Finance Accountant Role

Safari Group is seeking a diligent and organized Finance Accountant to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is crucial for maintaining the accuracy and efficiency of our financial operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the coordination and execution of key accounting functions, including account reconciliations, budget compilation, and providing essential support to the accounts payable department. Key Responsibilities

  • Record daily bank transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and transfers, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Manage all aspects of Bank Guarantees (LG/BG), including their issuance, tracking, and maintenance of related records.
  • Handle bank loans, encompassing their booking, processing repayments, and accurately entering interest charges.
  • Process Letters of Credit (LC), from initial issuance and any subsequent amendments through to final settlement.
  • Record and allocate all bank charges and fees to the appropriate accounts.
  • Perform comprehensive monthly bank reconciliations to ensure alignment between internal records and bank statements.
  • Assist with budget compilation processes.
  • Provide backup support for the accounts payable function as needed.

Qualifications and Experience

  • An Associate's degree in accounting or equivalent practical experience in an accounting role.
  • A minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in accounting.
