Role purpose
The position is required for working on all Finance and Accounts related jobs in the function at the local country level.

Key accountabilities

• Bookkeeping/Trial Balance/ FS Preparation
• GST/VAT
• Collection/ Receipt Reconciliation
• Audit
• Compliance

Responsibilities

• Bookkeeping/Trial Balance/ FS Preparation: Passing the GL entries and maintaining a Trial Balance and prepare the FS using an ERP system in order to prepare the audit file.
• GST/VAT: Awareness of Tax law in KSA in order to prepare the quarterly and yearly submissions. Prepare tax schedules and apply basic knowledge of tax rules to assist in preparation of tax reports and returns.
• Collection/ Receipt Reconciliation: Use judgment and professional accuracy skills in determining appropriate procedures for preparation of accounting records, research of transactions and reporting. Reconcile the daily collection receipts. Compile and prepare entries to General Ledger accounts.
• Audit: External Audit preparation, discussion, support to finance manager/ Auditor.
• Compliance: Apply the financial policies and procedures of the company. Bring inconsistencies and problems to the attention of management. Perform additional projects as assigned.

Required Experience

• Educated to Accounting degree or equivalent AUC or “English Section”.
• ERP, Financial application Experience is a must.
• Excellent Excel Skill is a must.
• Experience in accounting practices and principles.
• Usually a minimum of 5 years’ experience in bookkeeping and preparation of financial statements, financial reporting, financial data analysis, auditing, and taxation.
