General Accountant

We are looking for a skilled and experienced senior accountant with expertise and precision in work to join our financial team and contribute to enhancing the efficiency of accounting and financial operations. Tasks and Responsibilities: • Implement monthly payment processes for supplier invoices through approved banking channels. • Conduct monthly bank reconciliations and quickly and efficiently handle any discrepancies. • Prepare periodic VAT returns and ensure compliance with tax regulations. • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including zakat reports. • Follow up on customer dues and ensure cash flow regularity. • Prepare annual financial statements and investor accounts according to accepted accounting standards. • Review and analyze profit and loss accounts and compare them with the approved budget. • Execute monthly tasks related to fixed assets, including capitalization and depreciation using SAP. • Participate in internal and external accounting or tax audits and provide the necessary support to auditors. • Collaborate with internal and external auditors to ensure auditing processes are completed efficiently. Required Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field. • Advanced knowledge of general accounting procedures. • Full proficiency in Microsoft Excel (a prerequisite). • High ability to accurately data entry and management. • Practical experience ranging from 3 to 5 years in public accounting.
