About the Interior Designer Role

DAR AL OMRAN is seeking a highly creative and experienced Interior Designer to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is for a candidate with extensive experience, particularly in healthcare projects, who possesses a strong understanding of healthcare design standards, patient-centered environments, and functional space planning. The selected candidate will be instrumental in developing innovative interior design solutions while ensuring strict compliance with project requirements, regulations, and industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive interior design concepts, detailed layouts, and complete design packages specifically for healthcare facilities.
• Prepare and meticulously review space planning, material selections, finishes, furniture layouts, and detailed interior specifications.
• Collaborate effectively with architects, engineers, medical planners, and all other project stakeholders to ensure seamless design integration.
• Guarantee that all interior designs adhere to relevant healthcare regulations, international standards, and specific client requirements.
• Review shop drawings, material submittents, and mock-ups pertaining to interior works to ensure quality and compliance.
• Actively participate in design reviews, client meetings, and project presentations, clearly articulating design intent and solutions.
• Monitor project progress closely and provide essential technical support throughout the construction and fit-out phases.
• Conduct regular site visits to verify that design implementation aligns precisely with approved drawings and specifications.
• Coordinate with contractors and consultants to proactively resolve any design-related issues that may arise during the project lifecycle.
• Prepare detailed reports, comprehensive design documentation, and all required project deliverables in a timely manner.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, Architecture, or a closely related field.
• A minimum of 10 years of professional experience in interior design.
• Mandatory and demonstrable experience in healthcare projects is essential.
• Proven track record in the design of hospitals, medical centers, clinics, or other healthcare facilities.
• Strong knowledge of healthcare planning principles, appropriate materials, finishes, and established interior design standards for healthcare environments.

Required Skills

• Strong creative, conceptual, and technical design abilities.
• Excellent space planning and detailing skills.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite, along with other relevant design software.
• Exceptional coordination and multidisciplinary teamwork capabilities.

• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines effectively.
