We are seeking a Lead Product Designer to join our team in Riyadh for a full-time position.

Role Overview and Responsibilities

The Lead Product Designer will be responsible for leading a team of product designers, advancing UX research initiatives, and shaping the design strategy at Jeeny. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong understanding of user-centered design principles and team management.

• Lead and mentor a team of Product Designers (PDs) or Associate Product Designers (APDs), supporting their professional development.
• Oversee and guide continuous user experience research and user testing processes.
• Produce and regularly review comprehensive findings from user research.
• Prioritize design backlogs and manage design sprints effectively.
• Review the work produced by the design team on a consistent basis.
• Track, report on, and achieve relevant metrics and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
• Develop both short-term and long-term design strategies.
• Represent the design team in various forums and facilitate thought workshops.

Required Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this role should possess a strong background in product design and leadership. The ideal applicant will have a proven track record in user-facing applications and a strategic approach to design.

• A Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field is required. An MBA or advanced degree is preferred.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in Product Design for user-facing mobile and web applications.
• Experience working for tech companies within the transportation, deliveries, or eCommerce sectors is preferred.
• Experience working in the Middle East, particularly in KSA and Jordan, is preferred.
• Native Arabic speaker is preferred.
