About the Manager Facade Design Role at Qiddiya

Qiddiya is seeking a Manager Facade Design (Racecourse BU) (SPA RAC ) to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position involves acting as the client's technical representative for all activities related to façade design, engineering, and delivery within the Racecourse Business Unit.

Role Purpose and Objectives

The primary objective of this role is to ensure that façade systems consistently meet the intended design, performance requirements, and quality standards. The Manager Facade Design will also be responsible for aligning these systems with program objectives while effectively managing associated costs and mitigating risks throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the oversight of façade design, including technical reviews and coordination across various disciplines and interfaces.
• Manage external consultants and contractors, which includes reviewing shop drawings, fabrication processes, and installation procedures.
• Oversee construction delivery, program scheduling, and package-based procurement phases.
• Ensure quality assurance, compliance with relevant standards, and adherence to performance testing requirements.
• Manage project risks, identify and implement value engineering opportunities, and coordinate effectively with all stakeholders.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or Structural Engineering.
• 5-7 years of relevant experience, specifically with GCC or large-scale mixed-use development projects.

Preferred Skills and Accreditations

• A postgraduate qualification in façade engineering is considered an advantage.
• Chartered status with a relevant professional body is preferred.
• Accreditations such as CWCT, LEED, or BREEAM are advantageous.
