About the Role

Le Méridien Hotels & Resorts is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Marketing Specialist to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time, non-management position is an opportunity for individuals with 0-1 years of experience to contribute to brand awareness and drive revenue within the hospitality sector. The role involves promoting the brand image internally and externally, utilizing sales techniques to maximize revenue while nurturing existing guest loyalty.

As part of Le Méridien Hotels & Resorts, the Marketing Specialist will contribute to creating authentic and memorable service experiences. The role is suited for individuals who appreciate connecting with guests and are driven to create memorable experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Promote brand image awareness internally and externally.
  • Utilize sales techniques that maximize revenue while maintaining existing guest loyalty.
  • Communicate with potential owners via telephone to arrange preview package sales/tours.
  • Encourage guests or callers to purchase or schedule preview package sales/tours.
  • Explain details and requirements for attending a sales presentation to potential owners.
  • Verify that individuals meet eligibility requirements for preview package sales/tours prior to scheduling a tour for a Marriott Vacation Club property.
  • Determine and provide complimentaries to guests as gifts for their patronage, such as rewards points or show tickets.
  • Perform general office duties to support Sales & Marketing, including filing, sending emails, typing, and faxing.
  • Receive, record, and relay messages accurately, completely, and legibly.
  • Assist management in training, evaluating, counseling, motivating, and coaching employees, serving as a role model and first point of contact for the Guarantee of Fair Treatment/Open Door Policy process.
  • Follow all company policies and procedures, ensuring uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional.
  • Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect the privacy and security of guests and coworkers.
  • Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipating and addressing their service needs, and thanking guests with genuine appreciation.
  • Speak with others using clear and professional language, and prepare and review written documents accurately and completely.
  • Answer telephones using appropriate etiquette.
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others, supporting the team to reach common goals, and listening and responding appropriately to the concerns of other employees.
  • Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards.
  • Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • High school diploma or *** equivalent.
  • At least 1 year of related work experience.
  • No supervisory experience required.
