Role Overview

V2X Inc. is seeking an MD Aircraft Structural Repairman (A&P) for a full-time position in Riyadh, Riyadh. This role involves conducting comprehensive inspections, repairs, and replacements of various aircraft structural components. The repairman will adhere to technical manuals, safety procedures, and blueprints, ensuring compliance with established maintenance systems and operational readiness rates.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform inspections, repairs, and replacements of aircraft structural components such as stringers, longerons, bulkheads, beams, and aircraft skin.
• Fabricate structural parts and forming blocks using metal shaping techniques, including stretching and shrinking.
• Apply fiberglass materials and execute unscheduled emergency and permanent repairs to transparent plastic windows and enclosures.
• Utilize common measuring tools, precision gauges, and alignment fixtures for structural repairs.
• Apply primers and paints to aircraft surfaces and conduct corrosion control treatments on aircraft metals.
• Manage requisitions and maintain shop and bench stock items for aircraft structure repairs.
• Perform operator maintenance on common special tools and maintain records related to maintenance activity.
• Provide training to Saudi National Guard soldiers and ensure all operations prioritize safety.
• Ensure structural aircraft maintenance activities are planned, coordinated, and synchronized to achieve platform operational readiness (OR) rates in accordance with contractual requirements.
• Oversee daily structural maintenance management for assigned aircraft, supporting the Production Control (PC) Manager.
• Coordinate activities and requirements for maintenance operations support through the PC Manager.
• Document training using automated training management systems.
• Support Downed Aircraft Recovery Team (DART) processes and procedures in coordination with the PC Manager.

Qualifications and Experience

• Demonstrated experience as an aircraft structural repairman.
• Proficiency in adhering to directives, technical manuals, safety procedures, and blueprints.
• Ability to fabricate structural parts and perform metal shaping techniques.
• Experience with fiberglass applications and transparent plastic repairs.
• Familiarity with common measuring tools, precision gauges, and alignment fixtures.
• Knowledge of aircraft painting and corrosion control treatments.
• Experience in managing requisitions and maintaining shop stock.
• Ability to perform operator maintenance on special tools and maintain accurate records.
• A minimum of 5-10 years of relevant experience is required.

Work Environment and Training

The role involves working within established maintenance quality control processes and standards. The individual will coordinate with the PC Manager for daily and weekly maintenance training activities and requirements, and will also provide necessary training to Saudi National Guard soldiers. All maintenance operations and related support activities are to be conducted with a strong emphasis on safety.
