About the Role
Four Points by Sheraton in Riyadh is seeking a Sales Manager I to proactively solicit and manage sales opportunities. This full-time position requires 2-5 years of experience and focuses on building long-term, value-based customer relationships to achieve sales objectives and personal sales goals.
Sales Opportunity Development
The role involves working collaboratively with off-property sales channels to ensure coordinated and complementary sales efforts. You will build and strengthen relationships with existing and new customers through activities such as sales calls, client entertainment, familiarization trips, and trade shows. Developing relationships within the local community is key to expanding the customer base for sales opportunities. This includes managing and developing relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
Sales Activity Management
Responsibilities include participating in sales calls with the sales team to acquire new business and close deals. You will also execute and support the operational aspects of booked business, which involves generating proposals, writing contracts, and managing customer correspondence. Accurate and timely turnover of business to Event Management is essential for proper service delivery.
Market Insight and Revenue Maximization
This position requires identifying new business opportunities to achieve personal and location revenue goals. A thorough understanding of the overall market, including competitors' strengths and weaknesses, economic trends, and supply and demand dynamics, is necessary to effectively position sales efforts. You will close the best opportunities based on market conditions and location needs. Gaining insight into the location’s primary target customer and their service expectations is crucial to offering effective business solutions.
Customer Service Excellence
You will support the company’s service and relationship strategy, driving customer loyalty through excellent service delivery at every touchpoint. Servicing customers effectively aims to grow account share. This involves executing and supporting the company’s customer service standards and providing excellent customer service consistent with daily service basics. Setting a positive example for guest relations and interacting with guests to obtain feedback on product quality and service levels are also key components of this role.
Work Environment
This is a full-time position based in Riyadh. The role operates within the Four Points by Sheraton brand, contributing to its sales and service objectives.
