About the Role

Egis is seeking an experienced Operations & Maintenance & Handover Manager for its rail projects in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position requires a professional with over 10 years of experience to oversee and manage critical aspects of rail infrastructure operations, maintenance, and asset handover processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all rail infrastructure operations and maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with safety standards, regulatory requirements, and operational excellence.
• Develop and implement comprehensive maintenance schedules and preventative maintenance programs to optimize asset performance and minimize downtime.
• Lead and manage handover processes for rail systems, assets, and facilities, ensuring seamless transitions and thorough documentation.
• Direct and mentor maintenance teams, providing guidance on technical procedures, safety protocols, and performance expectations.
• Coordinate with internal departments and external contractors to ensure timely completion of maintenance and operational tasks.
• Establish and maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, asset conditions, and handover documentation for compliance and audit purposes.
• Identify operational inefficiencies and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
• Manage stakeholder communications regarding operational status, maintenance schedules, and handover milestones.
• Ensure compliance with Saudi Arabian rail regulations, industry standards, and organizational policies.
• Prepare and manage budgets for maintenance operations and resource allocation.
• Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies for operational and maintenance-related challenges.
• Facilitate induction and training programs for new operational and maintenance personnel.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 15 years of experience in rail operations and maintenance management.
• Proven experience managing asset handovers and transition projects.
• Strong people management and team leadership skills.
• Comprehensive knowledge of rail infrastructure systems and maintenance protocols.
• Excellent organizational and time-keeping abilities.
