About the Pre Sales & Bidding Expert Role

stc is seeking a Pre Sales & Bidding Expert to join our team in Riyadh. This full-time position requires 5-10 years of experience and focuses on leading critical pre-sales and bidding activities to ensure the successful submission of high-quality technical and commercial proposals.

Role Overview and Objectives

The primary responsibility of this role is to manage the end-to-end pre-sales and bidding process for business-critical opportunities. This includes thorough opportunity qualification, detailed analysis of Request for Proposals (RfP) and Request for Quotations (RfQ), and conducting go/no-go assessments in alignment with stc's strategic priorities. The role ensures that all submitted proposals are technically sound, commercially competitive, and fully compliant with customer requirements and internal governance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive the complete pre-sales and bidding lifecycle for significant opportunities, from initial qualification to final bid submission.
  • Lead the development and assembly of comprehensive technical and commercial proposals, including solution architecture and Bill of Quantities (BoQ).
  • Ensure the timely and accurate preparation of bids that meet all governance, customer, and internal approval requirements.
  • Collaborate with account teams to identify new bid prospects and contribute to strategic account planning.
  • Coordinate inputs from various internal departments, including Technology, Sales, Legal, Regulatory, and Operations, to ensure bid coherence.
  • Identify, assess, and manage risks throughout the bidding process to improve win rates and execution success.
  • Develop and maintain a repository of bid templates, libraries, and reusable content to enhance efficiency and standardization.
  • Conduct post-bid reviews and win/loss analyses to inform and refine future bidding strategies.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years and a maximum of 10 years of experience in pre-sales, bidding, or a related role.
