Foreground is excited to collaborate with a premier regional apparel retailer in the search for a Retail Operations Director. This key leadership role aims to oversee the complete store performance and enhance operational excellence and customer experience across the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead operational performance of retail stores in Saudi Arabia and the GCC.
  • Implement consistent operating standards across all branches.
  • Monitor key performance indicators such as sales, inventory turnover, and staff productivity.
  • Collaborate with merchandising, supply chain, and marketing teams to enhance in-store experiences.
  • Drive initiatives to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty programs.
  • Ensure compliance with legal, health, and safety standards.
  • Manage store expansion and refurbishment strategies.

Qualifications Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Retail Management or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • 12+ years of retail operations experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Experience in managing multi-country apparel operations.
  • Strong financial acumen and expertise in P&L management.
  • Excellent leadership and collaboration skills.

Experience & Qualifications:
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a fashion retail operations role, ideally overseeing multiple stores.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Solid understanding of retail KPIs, store operations, and customer engagement strategies.
  • High school diploma required; Bachelor’s in Business, Fashion, or Management preferred.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and retail POS systems.
  • Excellent communication skills in English & Arabic.
