Returns Team Leader

About the Role

Base Career is seeking a Returns Team Leader for a full-time position in Riyadh. This role involves leading the daily operations related to receiving, verifying, and processing returned products within the Central Warehouse, ensuring accuracy and compliance with established procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the daily receiving and processing of returned products in the Central Warehouse.
• Verify returned quantities, item details, product condition, return reasons, and supporting documentation.
• Record all returns accurately in the Warehouse Management System (WMS) and maintain traceability.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies related to quantity, items, documentation, and inventory with the Stock Control team and other relevant departments.
• Segregate and classify returned products based on their condition and approved disposition.
• Coordinate condition assessments with Quality Assurance when necessary.
• Ensure that damaged, expired, rejected, or non-conforming products are kept separate from available stock unless properly approved for other dispositions.
• Coordinate approved restocking, supplier returns, disposal, or other disposition actions for returned items.

Team Coordination and Reporting

• Allocate daily tasks to the returns team based on return volumes, workload, and operational priorities.
• Monitor team productivity, accuracy, attendance, and adherence to warehouse procedures and safety standards.
• Maintain comprehensive return records and prepare daily or periodic reports.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to returns, identify recurring issues, and support process improvement initiatives.
• Escalate significant return issues, quality concerns, or operational delays to the Inbound Manager.

Required Experience

Candidates should possess 2-5 years of relevant experience in warehouse operations, specifically within returns management or a similar capacity.

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, focusing on leading a team within a central warehouse environment.
