Sales Manager

About the Role

Marriott International is seeking a Sales Manager for a full-time position in Riyadh. This role is responsible for proactively soliciting and managing sales opportunities, ensuring proper and timely turnover for service delivery. The Sales Manager will contribute to leading day-to-day sales activities, focusing on building long-term customer relationships and achieving personal sales goals. The position requires 2-5 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with off-property sales channels to ensure coordinated and complementary sales efforts.
• Build and strengthen relationships with existing and new customers through sales calls, entertainment, FAM trips, and trade shows to secure future bookings.
• Develop community relationships to expand the customer base for sales opportunities.
• Manage and develop relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
• Provide accurate, complete, and effective turnover to Event Management.
• Participate in sales calls with team members to acquire new business or close existing business.
• Execute and support operational aspects of booked business, including generating proposals, writing contracts, and customer correspondence.
• Identify new business opportunities to achieve personal and location revenue goals.
• Analyze market conditions, including competitors' strengths and weaknesses, economic trends, and supply and demand, to inform sales strategies.
• Secure the best opportunities for the location based on market conditions and needs.
• Understand the location’s primary target customer and service expectations to offer tailored business solutions.

Customer Service and Relationship Management

• Support the company’s service and relationship strategy to drive customer loyalty through service excellence.
• Service customers to increase account share.
• Execute and support the company’s customer service standards.
• Provide excellent customer service consistent with daily service basics.
• Set a positive example for guest relations.
• Interact with guests to obtain feedback on product quality and service levels.

Qualifications and Experience

• 2-5 years of experience in a sales role.
• Demonstrated ability to proactively solicit and manage sales opportunities.
• Proven track record of building and maintaining customer relationships.
• Understanding of market trends and target customer information to maximize revenue.
