About the Role
Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Sales Strategy and Operations Lead to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is responsible for supporting Sales Leadership and operational teams in achieving organizational objectives and enhancing field productivity through data analysis and operational excellence. The role involves hands-on analytics and data modeling to support sales teams and drive data-informed decisions across the region.
Role Context
Amazon Web Services is the leading cloud provider, offering a comprehensive suite of over 200 services to millions of active customers globally. The Sales Strategy and Operations team plays a critical role in supporting organizational growth and scale by owning operational cadences, building new mechanisms, and driving key initiatives. This position combines technical expertise with business acumen to analyze complex datasets and deliver insights that directly impact decision-making processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Utilize data analysis and modeling to support Sales Leaders and their teams.
- Maintain business health and drive data-informed decisions within the region.
- Analyze complex datasets from multiple sources.
- Deliver reports and conduct specialized business analyses.
- Support the development and implementation of systems and tools for CRM, variable compensation, revenue reporting, and forecasting.
- Define, refine, and implement sales processes, procedures, and policies.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Over 10 years of experience with Microsoft Excel for data manipulation and analysis.
- Proven experience developing and implementing systems/tools for CRM, variable compensation, revenue reporting, forecasting, and Salesforce automation.
- Experience in defining, refining, and implementing sales processes, procedures, and policies.
- Proficiency in using Salesforce (or other CRM tools) or BI tools.
- Demonstrated experience presenting findings and insights to senior leadership.
Work Environment and Location
This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role operates within the Sales Strategy and Operations team, supporting AWS's extensive cloud computing services.
