About the Role

Ethra For Human Resources Consulting is seeking a SAP Platform Operation & Security Lead (BASIS / GRC) for a full-time position in Riyadh. This role is responsible for the end-to-end management of SAP platform operations, ensuring system stability, and overseeing security governance across the SAP landscape. The position requires 5-10 years of experience and offers a salary of up to SAR 28K, plus an annual bonus and medical insurance.

Role Overview

The SAP Platform Operation & Security Lead will oversee SAP BASIS operations, user access governance, SAP GRC Access Control, and provide support for audit compliance. The primary objective is to maintain secure, compliant, and highly available SAP systems. This involves close coordination with HEC (SAP S/4HANA Private Cloud managed by HEC), functional teams, and business stakeholders to ensure seamless operations and strategic alignment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day SAP BASIS operations for SAP S/4HANA Private Cloud hosted by HEC.
• Coordinate with HEC for system availability, performance monitoring, incident resolution, and Service Level Agreement (SLA) management.
• Oversee transport management, system refreshes, patching, and upgrades across all SAP environments.
• Manage SAP security design, role concepts, and user access governance.
• Administer and support SAP GRC Access Control, including risk analysis, mitigation, and Firefighter / Emergency Access Management (EAM) processes.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, audit requirements, and regulatory standards.
• Design and maintain SAP roles, authorizations, and access matrices.
• Oversee user provisioning, role assignments, and periodic access reviews.
• Support audit activities by providing access logs, Segregation of Duties (SoD) reports, and compliance evidence.
• Manage security and connectivity for SAP SuccessFactors, SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI), SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), and SAP Fiori.
• Monitor system health, security alerts, and performance metrics.
• Lead root cause analysis for system, security, or integration incidents and implement preventive measures.
• Participate in SAP implementation, upgrade, rollout, cloud migration, and enhancement initiatives.
• Act as the key technical and security advisor during project planning and execution.

Required Qualifications

• 7 to 9 years of experience in SAP BASIS and SAP Security.
• Proven experience managing SAP S/4HANA Private Cloud hosted on HEC or similar cloud platforms.
• Hands-on experience with SAP GRC Access Control.
• Experience in audit compliance support.
• Strong knowledge of SAP BASIS administration, transport management, and system monitoring.
• Strong knowledge of SAP security, role design, SoD concepts, and access governance.
• Ability to manage system stability, performance monitoring, and incident resolution.
• Ability to manage system patching, transports, refreshes, and upgrades.
• Ability to coordinate with HEC and manage SLA requirements.
• Knowledge of security and integration for related systems such as SAP SuccessFactors, SAP CPI, SAP BTP, and SAP Fiori.
