About the Opportunity

Recruit 121 Group is seeking a highly skilled SAP Project Manager for a freelance engagement based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This is an initial two-month contract opportunity focused on an English-speaking project environment. We are specifically looking for independent freelancers who can commit to this short-term engagement.

Role Overview

The SAP Project Manager will be responsible for leading end-to-end SAP initiatives, encompassing various project phases from implementation and rollout to upgrades, migrations, and enhancements. This role requires comprehensive project management expertise to ensure successful delivery within defined scope, timelines, and budget.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end SAP projects, including implementation, rollout, upgrade, migration, and enhancement initiatives.
• Develop project plans, schedules, budgets, resource allocations, and risk management strategies.
• Coordinate with business stakeholders, SAP functional consultants, technical teams, vendors, and third-party partners.
• Manage project scope, timelines, deliverables, and change requests.
• Monitor project progress and provide regular status reports to senior management.
• Facilitate requirement gathering, business process workshops, and solution design discussions.
• Ensure adherence to project management methodologies and governance standards.
• Identify and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies.
• Oversee testing activities, user acceptance testing (UAT), training, and go-live support.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure successful integration with other enterprise systems and business processes.
• Support post-go-live stabilization and transition to the support team.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will possess 5-10 years of experience in SAP project management, demonstrating a proven track record of successfully delivering complex SAP projects. This role requires a true freelancer; candidates currently holding permanent positions with long notice periods will not be considered. Proficiency in English is essential, as this is an English-speaking project.

Location and Logistics

This is an on-site position in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The consultant must be currently based in Riyadh, as remote work options are not available for this engagement. Please note that the customer will not provide any visa sponsorship or assistance.
