About the Role

Endava is seeking a Senior Business Development Manager, Financial Services, to join its team in Riyadh. This full-time role focuses on driving new business growth within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, with additional responsibilities for select opportunities in the United Arab Emirates. The Commercial discipline at Endava is responsible for accelerating growth by acquiring new strategic clients, expanding market presence, and acting as trusted advisors to senior business and technology leaders. This function combines deep industry understanding with expertise in IT Professional Services, Custom Software Engineering, and Digital Transformation.

Role Responsibilities

As a Senior Business Development Manager, you will be accountable for new logo acquisition across KSA and supporting targeted business development initiatives in the UAE. You will introduce organizations to Endava’s digital engineering, data, cloud, and transformation capabilities, owning the full sales lifecycle from initial engagement through to deal closure. This is a pure individual contributor role without people management responsibilities.

  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior business and technology stakeholders, selling IT Professional Services and Custom Software-led Digital Transformation solutions.
  • Lead new business acquisition in the Saudi market, with a strong emphasis on large enterprise and strategic accounts.
  • Support selected new business opportunities in the UAE, as required by regional growth priorities.
  • Own and execute the end-to-end sales lifecycle, from prospecting and qualification through deal shaping, negotiation, and closure.
  • Proactively identify opportunities through direct prospecting, cold outreach, networking, referrals, and market intelligence.
  • Build and maintain a strong, high-quality pipeline aligned to ambitious revenue targets.
  • Structure, negotiate, and close complex, multi-stream professional services engagements.
  • Consistently achieve and exceed annual sales and revenue objectives.
  • Apply deep understanding of digital transformation, enterprise technology, and regional market dynamics to engage credibly with VP, C-level, and senior technology leaders.
  • Grow and manage your personal book of business, maximizing earnings through an uncapped commission model.
  • Represent Endava at KSA-focused and regional industry events, conferences, panels, and executive workshops.
  • Actively contribute to strengthening Endava’s brand and presence across Saudi Arabia and the wider GCC.

Qualifications and Experience

  • 8–10+ years of proven new business development experience selling IT Professional Services, Custom Software Solutions, and/or Digital Transformation services.
  • Demonstrable sales experience in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, with a strong understanding of Saudi client expectations, procurement models, and relationship-led selling.
  • Experience selling into the UAE market is highly desirable.
  • Strong background in Financial Services (Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance), with a clear understanding of industry-specific technology challenges and trends.
  • An existing warm network of senior decision-makers in KSA, particularly within Financial Services.
  • Strong hunter mentality with proven experience in prospecting, cold calling, opportunity qualification, deal shaping, executive-level presentations, commercial negotiation, and deal closure.
  • Consistent track record of delivering $5M+ annual quota within professional services or digital consulting environments.
  • Experience preparing and presenting commercial proposals, business cases, and Statements of Work (SoWs).
  • Proven ability to engage, influence, and sell to VP, C-suite, and senior technology stakeholders.

Work Location and Travel

This role is based in Riyadh. Travel is an integral part of this role, and the individual will need to travel locally, within country, and internationally as needed. A valid passport is required, and readiness to travel during working hours as needed by the company is expected.
