The Role of Senior Compliance Specialist

We are seeking a Senior Compliance Specialist to join our team in Riyadh, Riyadh Province, for a full-time position. The Compliance team at Unifonic is responsible for managing and enhancing the company's overall Compliance function. This role focuses on all Compliance affairs, aiming to anticipate potential issues and develop proactive, practical solutions for the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure the organization maintains an engagement framework with the regulator (CST).
  • Collaborate with management and staff to identify and manage regulatory compliance risks.
  • Maintain and coordinate open communication with relevant decision-makers and stakeholders regarding regulatory communication and impact.
  • Organize regular training sessions for employees to communicate key regulatory changes and updates.
  • Support the creation and implementation of organizational policies, standards, and procedures to ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
  • Research industry Compliance regulations and policies.
  • Evaluate internal operational and procedural Compliance.
  • Maintain internal regulatory Compliance by communicating requirements, obtaining approvals, and training stakeholders.
  • Apply for Compliance certification and regulatory approval.
  • Develop and maintain a Compliance recordkeeping system.
  • Maintain communication with Compliance regulators and follow up on applications.
  • Stay updated on Compliance requirements and amendments to regulations.
  • Identify roadblocks and propose process improvements.
  • Maintain a Compliance communication register and documentation.
  • Create and manage action plans in response to regulatory Compliance audit discoveries and Compliance violations.
  • Remediate regulatory audits and periodic reviews, compiling gaps and action plans.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • 2-5 years of experience in a relevant compliance field.
  • Ability to effectively plan, manage, and complete projects in line with stakeholder needs, expectations, and organizational strategic objectives.
  • Compliance management or project management certification is considered a plus.
