About the Role

IC İçtaş İnşaat / IC İctas Construction, a global entity with over 50 years of experience in diverse domestic and international projects, is seeking a Senior Design Engineer. This full-time position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and will focus on road and infrastructure projects.

Role Overview

The Senior Design Engineer will be responsible for leading and supporting design activities within the road and infrastructure sector. This role requires a seasoned professional capable of ensuring design integrity, compliance with standards, and effective collaboration with project teams and stakeholders to deliver high-quality infrastructure solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of roads and bridges, ensuring adherence to engineering standards and regulations to enhance safety and efficiency.
• Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, aligning with client expectations and organizational goals.
• Conduct detailed analysis and design calculations using advanced engineering software to produce comprehensive design documentation and reports.
• Review and approve design drawings and specifications, providing technical guidance to design engineers and ensuring accuracy against project requirements.
• Coordinate with geotechnical, environmental, and traffic engineering disciplines to ensure integrated design solutions.
• Monitor design progress and performance, identifying potential risks and implementing mitigation strategies for timely project delivery.
• Participate in site visits and inspections to assess construction progress and quality, providing feedback to ensure compliance with design specifications.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university.
• Over 10 years of experience in large-scale infrastructure projects, including bridges, underpasses, overpasses, roads, and highways.
• Minimum 5 years of proven experience as a Senior Design Engineer, with a track record of contributing to and leading design works on complex infrastructure projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Autodesk Civil 3D.
• Experience with BIM methodologies and applications.

Language and Skills

• Excellent command of English (written and spoken).
• Arabic proficiency is considered a plus.
