About the Role

UMATR is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join their engineering team in Riyadh. This role is integral to building the next generation of an enterprise platform designed to help organizations make smarter, faster decisions using operational data. You will be part of an early-stage engineering team with the opportunity to significantly influence technical decisions, product direction, and engineering standards while delivering software for complex enterprise environments. This is a full-time position.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop modern web applications utilizing React, ****, and TypeScript.
• Build scalable backend services and APIs using Python and FastAPI.
• Create enterprise dashboards to translate complex operational data into actionable insights.
• Develop analytics and data exploration tools for user interaction with large datasets.
• Implement workflow automation features to streamline business processes.
• Integrate intelligent services into customer-facing applications to deliver AI-enabled product experiences.

Technical Contributions

• Design secure, scalable backend architecture and optimize database performance.
• Collaborate with Product, AI, and Engineering teams to define new functionality.
• Contribute to architecture discussions, code reviews, and the establishment of engineering best practices.
• Support production systems, focusing on continuous improvement of performance, reliability, and scalability.

Required Qualifications

• A minimum of 4 years of commercial software engineering experience.
• Strong experience in frontend development with React and TypeScript.
• Solid experience in backend development using Python.
• Experience building REST APIs with FastAPI or comparable frameworks.
• A strong understanding of PostgreSQL and relational database design principles.
• Experience working with Docker and containerized applications.
• A good understanding of software architecture, scalability, and engineering best practices.
• Experience building production SaaS or enterprise software.
