About the Role

Falak Investment Hub is seeking a Senior Investment Associate to join its team in Riyadh. This full-time position will support Falak's investment activities, focusing on startup assessment, due diligence, investment execution, and portfolio monitoring. The role is designed for an individual with a strong investor mindset, capable of applying structured judgment, challenging assumptions, and taking ownership throughout the investment lifecycle.

Since 2018, Falak has supported over 1,000 startups by connecting founders, investors, and institutions. Key Responsibilities

• Assess early-stage startups against Falak's investment thesis, evaluating markets, business models, traction, founders, and associated risks.
• Develop financial models and analyze key metrics such as unit economics, burn rate, runway, and funding requirements.
• Lead commercial, financial, and market due diligence processes, identifying critical risks and validating assumptions.
• Prepare clear investment committee-ready memos that present balanced investment recommendations.
• Engage professionally and confidently with founders, investors, and ecosystem partners.
• Support portfolio monitoring by tracking company performance, key milestones, and emerging risks.

Qualifications and Experience

• Demonstrated pre-seed, seed, and pre-Series A investment judgment and analytical capabilities.
• Proven experience in financial modeling and conducting investment due diligence.
• Ability to articulate complex investment decisions clearly and concisely.
• A structured approach to risk assessment and decision-making is essential.
• Comfort working with early-stage startups and navigating situations with incomplete information.
• Strong ownership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• 3-5+ years of experience in early-stage startup investing, with a preference for backgrounds in angel networks, investment-backed accelerators, family offices, or micro VCs.
• Hands-on experience in financial modeling and investment due diligence.
• Experience with financial reporting and portfolio management is considered a plus.

Measuring Success

Success in this role will be evaluated based on the quality of judgment demonstrated, including the structure and clarity of investment memos, readiness for investment committee discussions, thoroughness of risk analysis and investment recommendations, ownership of due diligence processes, and the cultivation of meaningful relationships with founders and ecosystem partners.
