About the Role
Incorta is seeking a Senior Presales Solutions Engineer to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves demonstrating the value of Incorta's Unified Data and Analytics Platform to prospective clients. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in data analytics, data management, and data engineering, with proven experience in enterprise sales cycles. Familiarity with Generative AI technologies and their application in analytics is highly desirable.
Role Overview
The Senior Presales Solutions Engineer will collaborate closely with the sales team to articulate how Incorta's platform can address complex data challenges and deliver rapid business value. This involves understanding customer needs, architecting solutions, and presenting technical capabilities to both technical and business stakeholders. The role requires translating customer requirements into Incorta-based solutions, highlighting the platform's advantages in real-time data ingestion, transformation, and visualization.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with sales to deliver compelling value propositions, product demonstrations, and Proofs of Concept (POCs) to prospective customers.
- Lead technical discovery sessions to understand customer data architecture, business needs, and pain points.
- Translate customer requirements into Incorta-based solutions, emphasizing real-time data ingestion, transformation, and visualization capabilities.
- Build custom demos and POCs utilizing Incorta's platform, including Incorta Nexus GenAI, Data Apps, and integrations with source systems (*, Oracle, SAP, Snowflake).
- Explain data modeling concepts, query optimization, and data pipeline architecture to diverse audiences.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to provide field feedback.
- Present as a technical expert at events, webinars, and customer workshops.
- Stay updated on data trends, Generative AI developments, and regional market demands.
- Support RFPs/RFIs and contribute to technical proposals.
Required Qualifications
- 5–7 years of experience in Presales, Solutions Engineering, or related customer-facing technical roles.
- Strong understanding of data platforms, including data modeling, ETL/ELT pipelines, and data warehousing concepts.
- Familiarity with data management practices such as governance, quality, and metadata.
- Exposure to or understanding of Generative AI (LLMs, RAG, AI copilots) in analytics is a strong plus.
- Strong communication and presentation skills in both English and Arabic.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
Additional Skills and Experience
- Hands-on experience with platforms like Incorta, Snowflake, Databricks, MS Fabric, or similar is considered a plus.
- Strong SQL skills; knowledge of Python is beneficial.
- Experience designing or presenting cloud-based architectures (AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Familiarity with NDMO, PDPL, or regional data regulations is a plus.
- Ability to engage effectively with both technical and executive-level stakeholders.
