About the Senior Project Manager Role

Parsons Corporation is seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager to oversee the design and construction of a significant public realm improvement project in Riyadh. This full-time position requires a proven leader to manage a complex Design & Build contract encompassing hard and soft landscaping, roads, and utilities infrastructure within an environmentally sensitive 10km corridor.

Project Delivery and Accountability

The Senior Project Manager will hold full accountability for the end-to-end delivery of this project. This includes ensuring that all project milestones are achieved to the highest standards, delivered on time, and within the allocated budget. The role demands meticulous planning, execution, and oversight throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the comprehensive design and construction process for public realm improvements.
• Oversee all aspects of a Design & Build contract, including landscaping, roads, and utilities.
• Ensure adherence to project timelines and budgetary constraints.
• Maintain the highest standards of quality and execution for all project deliverables.
• Lead and motivate project teams to achieve objectives.
• Manage stakeholder relationships effectively.
• Address and resolve complex project challenges.

Required Qualifications and Experience

Candidates must possess a strong background in project management, with a minimum of 10 years of related experience. The ideal candidate will have:

• A proven track record of successfully delivering multi-disciplinary projects with high public visibility.
• Minimum of 15 years of related experience.
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management capabilities.
• The ability to solve complex problems and implement effective solutions.
• A proactive and enthusiastic approach to driving projects to completion.
• Flexibility and readiness to adapt to and overcome new challenges.

Desired Skills and Expertise

Additional expertise that would be beneficial for this role includes:

• Demonstrated experience in a project management role with a focus on Design & Build contracts.
• Experience managing asset delivery through construction, handover, and start-up operations.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, with a thorough understanding of industry practices and regulations.
• Proficiency in interface management for complex assets.
• Working knowledge of the design and construction of public realm/urban regeneration projects, buildings, and utilities infrastructure.
