SR.ENGINEER TECHNICAL AND DETAILING FINISHING

About the Role

Alfanar Projects is seeking a SR.ENGINEER TECHNICAL AND DETAILING FINISHING to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position involves supervising project construction, planning, and site contractors to ensure work is completed to satisfactory standards. The role focuses on overseeing architectural, hardscape, and softscape elements, while ensuring client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.

Job Purpose

The primary purpose of this role is to provide comprehensive supervision for project construction, encompassing planning, site contractor management, and quality assurance. The Senior Engineer will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of architecture, hardscape, and softscape, with a strong emphasis on maintaining high levels of client satisfaction from project initiation to completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Liaise with suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure timely submission and follow-up for consultant approvals on materials, samples, mock-ups, and shop drawings.
• Coordinate effectively between architectural finishes, MEP services, and subcontractors to facilitate proper execution of finishing works.
• Review shop drawings and details of finishes, and coordinate shop drawings produced by different subcontractors to achieve fully coordinated drawings ready for execution.
• Study the details of interactions between various trades, raise RFIs on discrepancies, and provide solutions to secure consultant approvals.
• Manage the productivity of architectural works to align with the project schedule set by the general contractor.
• Develop site logistics plans, including mobilization and demobilization strategies.
• Identify potential project risks and formulate contingency plans to mitigate negative impacts on project outcomes.
• Ensure strict compliance with safety regulations and industry standards throughout the construction process.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in technical and detailing finishing roles.
• Demonstrated experience in supervising construction projects, including architectural, hardscape, and softscape elements.
• Proven ability to manage supplier/subcontractor coordination and secure timely approvals.
• Strong understanding of shop drawing review, coordination, and execution processes.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, requiring on-site presence to supervise construction activities and coordinate with various stakeholders. The role operates within a project-driven environment, demanding proactive problem-solving and adherence to project schedules and quality standards.
