Job Description

About the Role

MATARAT Holding is seeking a Talent and Performance Manager to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role plays a pivotal part in supporting the Talent Management Director to enhance talent development and performance management initiatives within the company. The primary objective is to contribute to the effective development and retention of employees, while ensuring alignment with Matarat's overall Human Capital strategy.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Establish a comprehensive assessment center for Matarat, incorporating personality and leadership tests, competency-based interviews (CBI), and cognitive ability assessments.
  • Design and implement a clear career path roadmap for each job family, outlining all potential career moves (horizontal, vertical, or diagonal) and specifying the requirements for each progression.
  • Develop and manage Matarat's succession management program, which includes conducting job criticality assessments, evaluating internal talent capabilities, and overseeing successor development plans.
  • Oversee all talent development programs, such as the High Potential (HiPo) program and leadership development programs, utilizing a variety of developmental activities including on-the-job training, innovation projects, and mentoring.
  • Develop a standardized library of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for each role at Matarat to streamline the KPI identification process and ensure quality assurance.
  • Conduct essential awareness sessions for all stakeholders in the Performance Management System (PMS), clarifying its objectives and defining distinct responsibilities for appraisers and appraisees.
  • Ensure that appraisers consistently conduct mid-year and year-end performance reviews effectively, while actively mitigating bias and rating errors.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or any other relevant discipline.
  • 5 to 6 years of experience in a related field.

Required Skills

  • Experience in creating and utilizing personality tests and leadership assessments.
  • Proficiency in conducting competency-based interviews (CBI) and cognitive ability tests.
  • Strong capabilities in career pathing and succession management.
  • Experience in designing and managing talent development programs.
  • Skills in KPI identification and performance review processes, including the ability to identify and address bias and rating errors.
