The Technical Sales Specialist Role
NMK Electronics Trading is seeking a Technical Sales Specialist to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is jointly funded by Epson and NMK, reporting directly to NMK management. The primary purpose of this position is to drive sales growth, increase market share, and provide technical expertise for Epson's professional AV solutions across NMK's reseller and integrator network. The role is primarily focused on Saudi Arabia, with potential requirements to support other countries in the Middle East region.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive revenue growth for the Epson HBR and Algeria Series product portfolio.
- Identify, qualify, and develop new business opportunities through NMK’s reseller and integrator network.
- Support NMK’s sales team in achieving agreed sales targets and develop account plans for key reseller partners.
- Increase product adoption and knowledge through regular customer engagement and pipeline development.
- Collaborate with Epson and NMK's pre-sales team to shape and present proposals, recommending appropriate Epson products with suitable technical fit based on customer requirements.
- Deliver product demonstrations, technical presentations, and proof-of-concept solutions.
- Support complex quotations and project configurations, including advising on other system requirements that complement the Epson portfolio (*, media servers, audio, control, lighting).
- Assist NMK's pre-sales team with technical documentation and bill of materials preparation.
- Conduct product training for NMK staff and reseller partners, promoting best practices and technical standards across the channel.
- Develop relationships with consultants, system integrators, and key decision-makers, in tandem with NMK and Epson teams.
- Identify emerging market opportunities and industry trends, working collaboratively with Epson to execute sales campaigns and strategic initiatives.
- Support product launches, roadshows, exhibitions, webinars, and industry events.
- Maintain a healthy opportunity pipeline using CRM tools, in sync with NMK and Epson sales teams.
- Represent Epson's brand professionally within NMK, provide regular pipeline, forecast, and activity reports, and participate in quarterly business reviews.
- Ensure alignment with the NMK brand/vendor team regarding agreed sales objectives and marketing initiatives.
Essential Qualifications and Experience
- 3–5 years of experience in the professional Audio-Visual industry.
- Strong understanding of AV technologies, including displays (primarily), audio systems, control systems, media servers, networking, and AV over IP.
- Proven experience in supporting technical sales and solution design.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills.
- Commercial awareness with a consultative sales approach and confidence in customer interactions.
- Ability to influence stakeholders across Epson, NMK, and the proposed solution.
- Strong organisational and project management skills.
- Experience using CRM platforms.
Desirable Qualifications
- CTS certification or equivalent AV industry qualification.
- Experience working with AV manufacturers, distributors, or system integrators.
- Experience with display and/or media server solutions.
- Vendor certifications relevant to displays.
Location and Employment Details
This full-time position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The salary for this role will be discussed during the interview process.
