Job Description

About the Transformation Project Manager Role

This role is responsible for driving the execution, governance, tracking, and delivery of strategic and transformation initiatives within the organization. The Transformation Project Manager ensures alignment between business priorities, digital initiatives, operational improvements, and executive objectives through structured project management practices, governance frameworks, stakeholder coordination, and performance monitoring. This position acts as a key liaison between business, product, technology, operations, and leadership teams to ensure strategic initiatives are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with organizational goals. The role is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain project management standards, methodologies, templates, and governance practices.
  • Track strategic initiatives, transformation programs, and cross-functional projects.
  • Monitor project timelines, milestones, dependencies, risks, blockers, and overall delivery progress.
  • Ensure proper prioritization and execution discipline across all initiatives.
  • Conduct project health checks and manage escalations as needed.
  • Support the execution of corporate strategic objectives and the transformation roadmap.
  • Translate strategic initiatives into structured execution plans with measurable deliverables.
  • Coordinate with initiative owners and follow up on action items and commitments.
  • Maintain the strategic initiatives portfolio and provide regular status reporting.
  • Prepare executive-level dashboards, PMO reports, steering committee materials, and transformation updates.
  • Track initiative Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), milestones, outcomes, and business impact metrics.
  • Provide visibility to leadership regarding risks, delays, resource conflicts, and dependencies.
  • Coordinate across departments including Product, Technology, Data, Editorial, Operations, Commercial, Marketing, and Finance.
  • Facilitate alignment meetings and workshops with stakeholders.
  • Ensure effective communication flow between business and execution teams.
  • Identify operational inefficiencies and support process optimization initiatives.
  • Participate in organizational transformation and digital enablement programs.
  • Support change management and adoption activities for new initiatives and systems.
  • Coordinate with vendors, partners, consultants, and implementation providers as applicable.
  • Track delivery commitments, timelines, and project outputs from third parties.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • PMP, PRINCE2, PMI-ACP, or equivalent certification is preferred.
  • 2-5 years of experience in PMO, project management, strategy execution, transformation, consulting, or operational excellence.
  • Experience working in digital, technology, media, fintech, analytics, or platform businesses is highly preferred.

Required Skills

  • Project Management: Project governance, planning and scheduling, risk and dependency management, PMO frameworks and reporting, understanding of Agile and Waterfall methodologies, initiative portfolio management.
  • Analytical Skills: Strategic thinking and execution orientation, KPI management and reporting, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, capacity to structure ambiguous initiatives.
  • Communication: Executive communication and presentation skills, strong stakeholder management, workshop facilitation and coordination, ability to collaborate effectively across technical and non-technical teams.
  • Technical Familiarity (Preferred): Jira, Confluence, MS Project, ******* / ClickUp / Asana, Power BI / Metabase / Looker Studio, Excel / Google Sheets, Miro / Notion.
