About the Warehouse Operator Role

Thales is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Warehouse Operator for a full-time position in Riyadh. With a presence of 40 years in Saudi Arabia and over 600 employees, Thales is a key player in delivering critical infrastructure and security solutions. This role is integral to maintaining efficient and compliant warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and delivery documents to ensure accuracy and quality.
  • Accurately store materials in designated locations, maintaining an organized and accessible inventory system.
  • Pick, pack, and prepare orders for dispatch in a timely manner, ensuring correct items and quantities are shipped.
  • Maintain up-to-date inventory records using warehouse management systems and perform regular stock counts and audits.
  • Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and scanners safely and efficiently.
  • Ensure proper labeling, documentation, and tracking of all materials and shipments.
  • Follow all safety guidelines, security procedures, and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Assist in loading and unloading goods, minimizing damage and ensuring proper handling techniques.
  • Monitor stock levels and promptly report discrepancies, damages, or shortages to supervisors.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse to support efficient operations.
  • Coordinate with team members and other departments to meet daily operational targets and deadlines.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance warehouse efficiency and accuracy.
  • Perform physical and system transactions (ERP/SAP/Oracle) for stock movements.
  • Prepare kits and materials for production/maintenance teams.
  • Conduct cycle counts and audits to ensure inventory accuracy.

Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Responsibilities

  • Take responsibility for personal safety and the safety of others.
  • Actively participate in achieving Thales HSE policy and objectives.
  • Comply with local HSE laws and legislation.
  • Use required safety equipment, including Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Encourage water and energy conservation, waste minimization, and recycling.
  • Report any health and safety concerns immediately to a line manager and the HSE department.

Qualifications and Experience

The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of experience in a warehouse operations environment. A commitment to accuracy, efficiency, and adherence to safety protocols is essential.
