The Role of Web Dynpro ABAP Developer

As a Web Dynpro ABAP Developer, you will be responsible for the design, development, enhancement, and maintenance of SAP applications. This role requires the use of Web Dynpro ABAP and other ABAP development technologies. You will collaborate with functional consultants, business users, and technical teams to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions. This is a full-time position based in Riyadh.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and enhance applications utilizing Web Dynpro ABAP (WDA).
• Develop and maintain ABAP objects, enhancements, interfaces, and custom solutions.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application and performance issues.
• Collaborate with functional consultants, business users, and other technical team members.
• Support testing, deployment, and production stabilization activities.
• Maintain technical specifications and ensure appropriate documentation of developments.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• 5-10 years of experience in SAP ABAP development.
• Strong hands-on experience with Web Dynpro ABAP is mandatory.
• Solid SAP ABAP development experience, including OO ABAP.
• Experience with enhancements, BAdIs/BAPIs, interfaces, and debugging.
• Good understanding of SAP application architecture and development standards.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Experience working in customer-facing project environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience with SAP SRM or developing/enhancing Web Dynpro applications within an SRM environment is an advantage.
